Richard Wineman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wineman of Smithville, Ohio, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Eugene and Leatha V. Wineman (Lee); and his siblings, Ray Wineman Jr. (Patricia), Leatrice Wineman, Duane Wineman (Herta) and Jeannine Polen (Joseph).

He is survived by: his sons, Richard L. Wineman II (Goddess Davis) and Randall S. Wineman (Sally); his grandchildren, Jenni and Stacey; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Canaan, Cooper, Mya and Jace; and his friend Randy Atherton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring Richard's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
