He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudi Forwick and Erna Forwick. He is survived by: his wife Anne-Dorte; his children, Nicole Brockmann of Cleveland Heights, Wiebke Kilbert (Brian) of Pittsburgh and Kay Forwick (Erin) of Willowick; and his grandchildren, Gattlin, Grace, Gillian and Gage Forwick.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Bernd's memory to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
