John Joseph Kachinko Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Kachinko of Solon, Ohio, born in Larksville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frances; his wife Janie; and his sister Dorothy Avon (Jimmy). He is survived by: his children, David (Leanne), Jane and Laura K. Shely; his grandchildren, Rachel Kachinko, Allison Shely (Adam Chaikof) and Jenna Shely; and his sister Lois Solari (Bob). He is also survived by his family, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (32725 Solon Rd, Solon, OH 44139). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Solon VFW Post 1863 (6340 Melbury Ave, Solon, OH 44139).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solon VFW Post 1863 in John's memory.
