It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Kachinko of Solon, Ohio, born in Larksville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frances; his wife Janie; and his sister Dorothy Avon (Jimmy). He is survived by: his children, David (Leanne), Jane and Laura K. Shely; his grandchildren, Rachel Kachinko, Allison Shely (Adam Chaikof) and Jenna Shely; and his sister Lois Solari (Bob). He is also survived by his family, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solon VFW Post 1863 in John's memory.
