He was predeceased by: his son Mark Edward Whitehead (Shelly); and his parents, Virginia Whitehead and Joseph Ross Whitehead. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Gene; his children, Denise Wagner (Richard) and Daniel Robert Whitehead; his grandchildren, Leah, Dawn, Alecia, Allyson and Amber; his great grandchildren, Shay, Charles Jr., Carter and Rylee; and his sister Cherie Martin (William).
