With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley J. Russell of Solon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 97. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darce Ridenour and Marie Ridenour; her brothers, Donald, Leland and Ernest; and her son Robert.
She is survived by: her husband William Russell; and her children, Thomas, David and Susan. She is also survived by 11 grand children and10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Steinbauer Funeral Home (33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, OH 44139). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
