Helen Paxton Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2025, at the age of 91, Helen Paxton of Somerset, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William I. Walker and Joyce Walker (Emmert); her husband Lowell Thomas Paxton; her brother William Walker; and her grandsons, Christian Wilson and Alex Paxton.

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Swinehart (Darrell) of Galion, Patricia Helser (John) of Somerset, Holly Wilson (Chad) of Somerset, Kenneth Paxton of Somerset and Paul Paxton (Nancy) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Jerrod Swinehart (Whitney), Jacob Swinehart (Jenny), Janel Swinehart, Trevor Paxton (Haruka), Cayle Helser (Heather), Nate Albright (Andrew), Seth Helser (Annie), Rachel Tolliver (Josh), Andrew Paxton (Kylee), Elizabeth Laney (Colton), Kate Wilson and Austin Wilson; and her sister-in-law Verna Walker of Somerset. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
