She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascom Blanton and Frances Long Blanton; her husband David G. Howdyshell; and her brothers, Gene and Lynn Blanton.
She is survived by: her children, David Howdyshell, Jr., Nancy Flautt (Joe), Lori Thomas (Tim) and Lisa Hinkle (Roger); and her grandchildren, Cherry Lambert (Kevin), David Howdyshell, III, Daniel Howdyshell (Alisa), Will Flautt (Ashley), Alan Flautt (Lacey), Kendall Foster (Ryan), Matt Thomas (Amy), Brandon Thomas (Emily), Christy Pollock (Todd), Roger Hinkle, Jr. (Heather) and Stacie Hinkle (Kevin Radigan). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
