He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Phillips; and his parents, Raymond Phillips and Gertrude Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Eva Louise Crowley (Dan) of Mount Holly, Donna Lee Clark of Lorain, Bruce Allen Phillips (Julie) of Berlin Heights and Karen Sue Byrd (Carroll) of Kipton; and his brothers, David Phillips of Oberlin and Dan Phillips of South Amherst. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
