Edwin Dale Kranz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Dale Kranz of South Charleston, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. and Mary R. Kranz (Downend); and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Michelle VanVorhis (Dean) and Michael Kranz (Angela); his grandchildren, Jacob (Alexis), Matthew (MaKayla), Marcus and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Xavier, Evelyn, Owen and Josie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Plattsburg United Church of Christ (1715 S Urbana Lisbon Rd, South Charleston, OH 45368). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Plattsburg Cemetery (10907 Plattsburg Rd, South Charleston, OH 45368).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plattsburg United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
