We announce the death of Harold Randy Smith (South Point, Ohio), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 71. Harold will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Evelene Smith (Evelyn) of South Point, Ohio.; his brother Jerry Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Richard "Ricky" Cooke, John Tipton and Russ Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith (Cooke); his children, Jessica Luhrsen (Nate) of St. Augustine, Florida, Ayrie Staley (Bo) of South Point and Jaad Smith (Lisa) of Genoa; his grandchildren, Makinzie, Bindi, Bryelin, Pyrete, Kingston, Knox, Kimrie and Lucas; his siblings, John Smith (Sue), Mike Smith, Rusty Smith (Carol), Eric "Scoot" Smith (Sandra), Sheila Richardson (Tom), Kathy Johnston (Jim), Kim Hudson (Jeff), Crystal Smith and Teresa Hall; and his sisters-in-law, Beverlee Collins (Butch), Carolyn Shepherd and Marie Tipton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, lifelong friends.
