He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Perkey and Marjorie Louise Byron Perkey; and his brothers, William Perkey, Donald Perkey and Bob Perkey.
He is survived by: his wife Johnda Lee Spears Perkey; his son Matthew Scott Perkey; his siblings, Sandra Hanshaw, Michael Perkey, Gary Perkey, Ricky Perkey and Terry Perkey; his grandchild Krue Perkey; his niece Courtney Sherman (Jordan); his parents-in-law, George and Kay Spears; and his pets, Duke and Sami.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home (802 Solida Rd, South Point, OH 45680). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
