He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilferd Nelson and Inez Johnson Nelson; his wife Linda Ann Nelson; and his daughter Teresia Nelson Williamson. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Nelson, Aimee Lawson (Bobby) and Ray Nelson; his grandchildren, Ashley, Emilee, Shelby, Brody and Levi; and his siblings, Ada Guinn, Iris Sias, Sharon Trout, Wylene Weather, Andrea Smith, Haskell Nelson and Dwight Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
