He is survived by: his son John G. Wheeler, III; his siblings, Sharon Hariston, Karen Diamond, Mike Wheeler and Dick Wheeler; his granddaughters, Amanda Wheeler, Kristen Allen and Heather Wheeler; and his great grandchildren, Braelynn Allen and Erica Allen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
