It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Simmons of South Point, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Simmons to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willy Leap and Viola Leap; her husband Lucian Simmons; her daughter Pamela Beller; her siblings, Woodrow, Herman Leap, Pearl Porter, Thelma Estep and Blanche Roberts; and her great grandchild Donavon.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Beller (Mitzi) of South Point and Steven "Barry" Beller of South Point; her stepchildren, Glenna Saunders (Keith), Kathy Stone, Angie Thomas (Pete), Roger Simmons (Rhonda) and Charlie Simmons; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Kristen Beller of South Point, Shaun and Jennifer Beller of Ashland, KY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
