He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Nixon Hampton; his daughters, Jamie Hampton Mathews (John) and April Hampton Haun (Heath); his grandchildren, Brittany McClellan, Ashlee Mathews and Piper Haun; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kyler McClellan, Noelle, Jaxon Legrand and Bo Starn; his children, Doug, John Adkins and Deena Spurlock; and his siblings, Don Hampton and Virginia Jeffers.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
