He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Sexton and Gracie Sexton (Barton); and his siblings, Marie Gearheart, Henrietta Sexton, Kim Sexton, Mark and Lilly.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Allen (Matthew) of South Salem, Gerald Shawn Sexton (Ashley) of Ironton and Scott Sexton (Jessica) of Bourneville; his grandchildren, Alexis, Addison, Jackson, Chance, Sterling, Silas and Aleris; his siblings, Melissa Hall (Glen) of Plymouth, Gaylene Handshoe (Claude) of Plymouth, Ed Sexton (Pamela) of Willard, Keith Sexton (Ruth) of Macon, GA and Randy Sexton (Karen) of Defiance; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, friends, fellow veterans, hunting partners.
