She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Glenn and Lillie Irene Sargent (Lewis); her husband David Metzler; and her siblings, Lloyd Sargent and Anna McClintic.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Anne Nelson of Wheelersburg; her brother Harold Sargent of Canyon Lake, TX; her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Boggs (Billy), Lisa Bates, Zach Bates (Sheila), Allison Sammons (Tom) and Chad Krekeler (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Zacaylah, Kaylee, Peyton, Addison, Behrett, Graidy, Lincoln, Jaxon, Audrey, Braxton and Jacob; and her great great grandchild Tommi.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionary Fund at the South Webster Baptist Church.
