He was predeceased by: his parents, Attorney Harold Gardner (HI) and Dorothy Gardner (Harper); his brother Roger Gardner; his sister-in-law Erika; and his sisters, Kay Latimer (Bob) and Jane Deneen (Dan).
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Diane Solarz (Jeff) of Cortland and Richard Gardner (Joan); his grandchildren, Lauren Dunn (Sean) and Sean Solarz; and his great grandchildren, Iona and Rory.
