He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy Myers (Highman); his daughter Hollie Myers Dixson (Stephen Dixson); his grandchildren, Reese and Easton Kelling (Josh); his siblings, Butch Myers (Kathy), Linda Myers Tanner (Noland), Michelle Myers Brown (Rodney) and Jackie Myers Albright (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Elaine Myers and Bobby Broadsword; his daughter Heather Myers Kelling; his parents, Helen Myers and Hershel Myers Sr.; his siblings, Jeanie Hostetler, Deena Broadsword, Jim, Terry and John Myers; and his pets, Kramer, Dodge and Ruger. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Hershey's memory to Hospice of Medina County (HMC), whose compassionate care provided comfort and peace.
