He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Nelson (Kellie) and Joey Nelson (Krystal); his grandchildren, Andrew, Audrey and Alexis Nelson; and his siblings, Judy Mullins (Dewayne), Mary Halan (Roland) and Dan Nelson (Lori). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
