He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Blackburn and Maggie Blackburn (Coleman); and his siblings, Foster, Gene, William Rell, Don Blackburn and Inez Blevins.
He is survived by: his wife Vyvian Blackburn; his children, Jamie Blackburn (Melanie), John Blackburn (Jen), Carla Michelakis (Michael), Jodie Reynolds (Rick), Pete Neely (Amy) and Kelly Cheek (Ryan); and his siblings, Rose Hammons (John) and George Blackburn (late Peggy). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
