It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hefner (Spencerville, Ohio), who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Painter and Mamie Painter; her husband Miles Hefner; her siblings, Reed Painter, L. W. "Bud" Painter, John Painter, Clyde Painter, Marguerite Taylor, Pauline Richard and Carlyn "Joyce" Hefner; her son John Hefner; her great great grandchild Robin Mellano-Hamrick; her children, James Hefner and Cathy Root; her grandchildren, Angela Beaver, Jennifer Hefner, Shannon Mellano, Shawn Parlette and Aaron Root; her great grandchildren, McKenna Beaver, Karissa Steinke, Jordan Steinke, Miles Mellano, Mason Mellano, Mitchell Mellano, Mamie Jene Mellano, Danny Phalen, Elizabeth Medlock and Kayla Solomon; and her great great grandchildren, Oliver Mellano, Felicity Mellano, Lionel "Henry" Mellano, Audrey Mellano, Rylan Medlock, Gabriel Solomon and Knox Phalen.
