She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Bowersock and Beatrice Bowersock (Albrecht); her husbands, Jack C. Simmons and Mirth; her daughter-in-law Deborah Carnes; and her brother-in-law John D. Rupert.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul M. Carnes (Judy Bronson) of Spencerville, Clay E. Carnes of Spencerville, John A. Carnes (Carol) of Spencerville and Wayne C. Carnes (Susan) of Indianapolis, IN.; and her sister Donna Jean Rupert. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
