With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana K Nungester of Spencerville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Carmean and Mary M. Carmean (Martin); her husband Arthur Eugene Nungester Jr.; her son-in-law Robert M. Sloan; her granddaughter Angelia Wiechart; and her niece Cindy Layman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Diane Sloan of Delphos, Melanie Kay Lee (Bruce) of Vanlue and Lisa A. Sloan (Nicholas) of Delphos; her grandchildren, Greg Sloan of Delphos, Andrea Marshall (Jon) of Delphos, Brandy Sears (Sam) of Van Wert, Jennifer Wilson (Richard) of Spencerville, Sarah Taylor of Vanlue, Gary Grubbs of Findlay and Ashley D. Sloan of Delphos; her sister Darlene Vaubel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and her nephew James Vaubel of Hollywood, FL.. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
In honor of Diana, preferred memorials may be made to the Allen County Humane Society in Lima or Spencerville EMS.
