It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Anne Staples of Spencerville, Ohio, born in Buckland, Ohio, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Burlette "Bud" Stout and Lydemia Stout (Baker); her husband Donald L. Staples; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Stout and Willene Stout.

She is survived by : her children, Debra A. Dillon (John C. "Chuck") of Spencerville, Dennis M. Staples (Gina M.) of Spencerville, Donita L. Miller (Dana J.) of Elida and Daniel B. Staples (Judith A.) of Delphos; her grandchildren, Candice Dillon (Michael Boisvert) of Pandora, Matthew Dillon (Kelcey) of Plainwell, MI, Melissa Kinney (Drew) of Piqua, Michele Brown (Neil) of Spencerville, Michael Staples of Lima, Tara Lafferty (Joseph) of Kenosha, WI, Donald Miller (Karinda) of Elida, Deanna Purdy (Denny) of Lima, Derek Miller (Samantha) of Venedocia, Jonathan Staples (Lindsey) of Delphos and Nathan Staples (Gabrielle) of Troy; and her brothers, Norman B. Stout of New Concord and Tommy C. Stout (Diane) of Spencerville. She is also survived by thirty-one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

In honor of Dolores, preferred memorials may be given to the Tunnel to Towers organization.
