It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula JANETTE Hixson of Spencerville, Ohio, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Bryan Hixson; her parent Virginia Davenport (Lambert); her brothers, Ronald Cox, Bill Oyler, Doug Oyler and Tom Oyler; and her extended family, Evelyn, Ralph Hixson, Hugh, Nancy Seibert, John Hixson, Jeanie Miller, Susie Hixson and Dan Finn.
She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Eddie Hixson (Mandy) of Spencerville and Shelly Hixson of Spruce Pine, NC; her siblings, Juanita Finn, Jeanie Stephens, Mark Curtis and Larry Oyler (Tina); and her in-laws, Carolyn Cox and Ron Miller.
Memorials: Donations may be made to the Spencerville VFW or Spencerville VFW Auxiliary.
