He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bill" Boyd and Rita Ruth French (Etgen); and his sister Margie Grigsby. He is survived by: his wife Myra Lou; his children, Cynthia Smith of Lima, Mark Smith of Lima, Marcia Barnett (Michael) of Lima, Tracy Rhoades (Dawn) of Lima and Joshua French (Brooke) of Lima; and his brothers, Bill French (Luella) and Donny French (Angela). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
