He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellard B. Townsend and Wilma A. Townsend (Armstrong); his brother James David Townsend; and his great grandchild Greyson Lee Schleeter. He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Holliday; and his children, Tina Rene, Terri Michelle and Christopher Bryce (Jennifer). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home (728 E 4th St, Spencerville, OH 45887). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
