She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Burmester and Lois Campbell Burmester. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ashworth; her stepchildren, Sarah Seim (Paul), Erika Reyes (Tony), Matthew Ashworth and Tristan Ashworth; and her brothers, Neil Burmester and Russell Burmester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
