She was predeceased by: her father James E. Cummings; and her sisters, Janet Stanley (Robert) and Rachelle Brammer. She is survived by: her mother Betty L. Flaugher Cummings; her husband Thomas L. Shaffer; her daughters, Jennifer Magnuson (Billy) and Amanda Stacy (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Whittney, Sierra (Dylan), Alex, Jackson and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Mason and Meredith; and her sister Deborah King (Bobby). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neeld Funeral Home (1276 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spring Valley Global Church (1 W Walnut St, Spring Valley, OH 45370).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spring Valley Global Methodist Church, 1 W. Walnut St, Spring Valley, OH, 45370, in her memory.
