She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sharritts and Elizabeth Sharritts; her husband Robert Shroder; and her brother Raymond Sharritts. She is survived by: her son Don McLaughlin (Tina); and her stepchildren, Chanda Dicke, Bob Shroder (Katy), Ron Shroder (Sue) and Steve Shroder (Kim). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
