She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Hayes and Christine Hardix Hayes; her siblings, James, Frank, Jack, Tommy Hayes and Bessy Parsons; her husband Ernie Rose; and her children, Debra Shaw (Victor) and Gary Rose (Donna).

She is survived by : her siblings, Robert, Steve Hayes, Eva Hubble, Sue Cole and Chrissy Collier; her grandchildren, Matthew Proffitt (Melia), Joshua Proffitt (Missy), Alan Rose (Maggie) and Chrissy Rose; her great grandchildren, Alexa Proffitt and Jora Proffitt; and also, Meredith Shaw-Jones, Ashleigh Shaw, Erica Shaw, Kevin Shaw and Cindy.
