She was predeceased by : her father James T. Thornberry; her husband Dr. A. G. Cole of Miamisburg; her sister Wanda Pennington; and her son Byron Cole. She is survived by : her children, Dr. Colette Cole-Mejia (Rudy) and Alex Cole; her grandchildren, Carina Tobias (Sean), Erica Mejia, Victoria Mejia, Mila Mejia and Angela Cole; her great grandchildren, Eliana Cole and Sloane Tobias; and her siblings, Jim Thornberry and Thelma Oney.
