He was predeceased by : his father Richard Hecht. He is survived by : his mother Betty Hecht (Spatz); his wife Anne Elizabeth Hecht (Stanton); his sons, Jacob, Charlie and Sam; and his siblings, Jeff (Patti), Doug (Connie), Jonathan (Michelle), Nathan (Carolyn) and Leah Jacob (Craig). He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
