She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Burcher and Nona Burcher (King); her husband Henry Matlock; and her siblings, Joe Burcher, Jr., Ruth Ann Owens, Mary Lou Cotton and Dennis Burcher.
She is survived by: her children, James Matlock and Carolyn Hosey; her grandchildren, Melissa Patrick (Paul) and Richard Moore (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Danielle Wissinger (Mike) and Nick Moore; and her great great grandchild Peyton Wissinger.
