She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia; and her brother Brett Jenks. She is survived by: her husband Harold Neal; her father Joseph Jenks; her sister Paige Stacy (Joe Schiele); her nieces, Sydney and Kensington Stacy; her stepsons, Phillip Neal (Shannon) and Joseph Neal (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Declan, Elias, Caleb, Julia Neal, Bryan and Cadence Deacon; and also, Dan Neal (Rita) and Mark Neal (Janet).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Melinda's name can be made to the Warren County Animal Shelter, 230 Cook Road, Lebanon, OH 45036.
