He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth L. Megie; his son Jim A. Megie; and his parents, Estley Megie and Edna White. He is survived by: his daughter Jan Flaig (Mike); his granddaughters, Heather L. Megie and Molly A. Poppaw (James); and his great grandchildren, Rylynn, Joey, Emma and Sammy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children (National Office) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
