She was predeceased by : her parents, James B. Deaton and Mattie Mae Deaton (McIntosh); her children, Theresa Caserta and Jimmy Deaton; and her siblings, Lloyd Deaton, Wanda Mae Albin, Bertie Puckett and Jean Hollon.

She is survived by : her sons, Johnny Deaton, Joseph Loveless (Regina) and David Loveless (Star); her son-in-law Dave Caserta; her grandchildren, Erin, Abigail, Blake, Kyle and Cody; and her siblings, John T. Deaton, B. Deaton, Dora Sebastian (John), Naomi Rudd, Ida Dixon and Gail (Jack). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Home (517 S Sutphin St, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
