We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025, at the age of 92, Shirley Joan Rice Kuhn in Springboro, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl T. Rice and Orpha J. Dittman Rice; her husband Leroy A. Kuhn; and her brother Gary T. Rice. She is survived by: her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Nancy Kuhn of Elizabethtown, PA; her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law David Schumacher of Springboro, OH.; her grandchildren, Justin Kuhn of Ashville, NC, Ashley Durost (Brian) of Marietta, PA, Taylor Schumacher of Cincinnati, OH, Victoria Schumacher of New York City, NY and Blaire Schumacher of Columbus, OH; her great grandchildren, Autumn and Rowan Durost; her sister-in-law Phyllis Kuhn of Darlington, PA; her cousins, Steve Battistone, Ann Battistone and Ellen Shraim; and her friend Tom Zimmerman of Mount Joy, PA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2429 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, PA 16105). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
