He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Borgert; his parents, Elmer Borgert and Elsie Borgert (Schmitmeyer); and his sister Jane Norris. He is survived by: his children, Trisha Gillum (Chris), Joe Borgert (Charla) and Kara Rourke (Andrew); his grandchildren, Alexis Schmid (Nathan), Lucas Borgert, Robert Osborn, Shannon Osborn, Destin Gillum, Adysen Gillum, Nora Rourke, Graham Rourke, Lucas Rourke and Ellie Rourke; his great grandchildren, Teagan Schmid and Riley Schmid; and his siblings, Orville Borgert (Jean), Patrick Borgert, Linda Lopez and Debbie Keiser (Mike).
