It is with sadness that the passing of Alan Ream of Springfield, Ohio is shared. Alan, born on July 22, 1953, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Ream and Elizabeth Ream (McKeever); and his sister-in-law Deborah Dennick-Ream. He is survived by: his wife Debra (Lewis); his sons, Ryan Short (Lindsey) and Andrew Short (Kari); his siblings, Patricia Tannreuther (John) and Zane Dennick-Ream; his granddaughters, Adelyn, Kaitlyn and Keira; his nieces, Shannon and Carrie; and his nephew John.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McColaugh Massie Funeral Home (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Episcopal Church, 63 E Church St, Xenia, OH 45385 or Husted EMS, 6215 Springfield-Xenia Road, Springfield, OH. 45502.
