He is survived by: his wife Maryemma Ballard of Springfield; his sister Dora Ellen Simmons (Hall); his niece Doreen Mitchem; and his sister-in-law Elida Hall (Toby Ballard). He is also survived by many cousins and other relatives and close friends.
