With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara A. Shellman Weikert of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Robbins and Mary Lou Robbins (Staight); her husbands, David J. Shellman and Joe Weikert; her brother Steven Robbins; her great grandchild Xzavier; and her pet Josie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kari Carper and Kristi Post (Brent); her sister Rosalie Whaley; her grandchildren, Kami Moore (Tony), Zackari Carper (Ally) and Kirk Post (Stephanie Geis); and her great grandchildren, Roslyn, Leo, Vincent, Jay, Dylan, Avery, Rush, Eva and Teague.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions, in Barb's memory may be made to Affinity Hospice or Northridge United Methodist Church.
