We announce the death of Barbara Ann Miles of Springfield, Ohio, born in Keokee, Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 77. Barbara Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie L. Miles; her parents, Millard C. Hobbs and Emma Louise Hobbs (Arnett); her children, Eddie L. Miles, Jr., James Brian Miles and Kelly Louise Miles; and her siblings, Jeffrey Hobbs and Jennifer Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Deak; her grandchildren, Michael Deak and Kelli Miles; her siblings, Peggy Bailey (Larry), Darlene Hobbs and Ron Hobbs (Pat); her brother-in-law Danny Saunders (Sharon); and her aunt Janet Payne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Trissel Cemetery S Diamond.
