We bid farewell to Betty J. Stewart of Springfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Betty leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glendon Spriggs and Pauline Spriggs (Fitzpatrick); her husband James Stewart; and her sister Pat Rugh (Lawrence). She is survived by: her children, Michael Stewart (Anette) and Suzanne Collins (John); her grandsons, Stewart Collins and Ian Collins (Katie); and her pet Sheba.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Welfare League or Cherish Hospice.
