It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Smith of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clenard "Jack" Arledge and Irene Arledge (Snider); her husband Horace Smith; her daughter Barbie Blosser; her sister Lois Allen; and her granddaughter Jennifer Goetz.

She is survived by: her children, Christi Warren, Cathy Goetz (Paul), Susan Ponticello (Giles), Danny Warren (Cheryl) and Dr. Rick Smith; and her grandchildren, Chris Hines (Shannon), Heather Dusterberg (Mike), Matt Goetz (Sabrina), Kelly Smith, Peter Warren, Sydney Western (Matt), Andrew Smith (Beth), Kyle Blosser, Alex Warren, Freddy Young and Jennie Applegarth (Aaron). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to WEEC or the Nehemiah Foundation.
