With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Maurer (Springfield, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Shaffer and Anna Shaffer; her husband Kenneth Maurer; her children, Jeanette Maurer, Ken Allen Maurer and Trudi McConkey; her son-in-law Bruce McConkey; and her siblings, Howard Shaffer and Doris Katherine Shaffer.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Maurer (Barbara), Chris Haughey (John) and William Maurer (Ann); and her grandchildren, John Haughey (Amy), Laura Haughey, Andrew Maurer, David Maurer (Latoshia), Jennifer McConkey, Rachal McKenzie (Tegan) and Rebecca Rhoton (Stephen). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lawrenceville Church of God in Betty's name.
