With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Edwards in Springfield, Ohio, born in Circleville, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edwards; her son Lonnie Acton; her grandchildren, Lonnie Acton Jr. and Jennifer Acton; her son-in-law Patrick West; her cousins, Junior Wright and Dorothy Chamberlain; her parents, James Wright and Margaret Wright (Boydston); and also Tonyia Rowlett.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Acton (Yvonne), Mark Acton (Janie), Linda West and Lisa Alexander (Lloyd); her grandchildren, Terri Acton (Missy), Ricky Acton, Coleen Cox (Kyle), Emma Alexander and Alex Alexander; her great grandchildren, Alex, Jase and Lydia; and her family, Vickie Shelton and Lavonna "Punkin" Meyers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
