She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Herbert Benton and Anna Benton; her husband Deacon Claude Norman Castleberry, Sr.; her son Carvey Castleberry; her brother Thomas Benton; her in-law Deacon Wade Castleberry Sr. (Essie); and her sister-in-law Wauline Smith (Grady).
She is survived by: her children, Deacon Claude N. Castleberry, Jr. (Ledia), Carla Marie Taylor (Donald) and Cencis Remell; her adoptive son Dr. Deacon Kevin Morris of Fairborn, OH; her stepdaughter Vicki Colvin; her adoptive daughter Debbie Mapp; her grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Debbie) of London, OH, Airgon Kidd (Angela), William Castleberry (Ashanti) of Columbus, OH, Mignon Griffin-Clay (Beau) of Urbana, OH, Marlon Griffin of Great Falls, MT, Demetrius Castleberry (Jasmine) of Livonia, GA, Meshaun Griffin, Tara Taylor, John Yancey, Ariel Montgomery and Ashley Colvin; her siblings-in-law, Bernice Benton, Wade Castleberry Jr. (Sandra) and Pauline Stembridge (Roosevelt) of Marietta, GA; her sons, Bishop Stevie Houpe of Kansas City, MO, Bobby Mims, Dale Wilson, Darnell Davis, Rev. Ronald Ridley of James and Carter; and her caregiver Angel Trimble. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
