She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burkhardt and Flora Burkhardt (Peer); her husband Larry Gene Skiles; and her siblings, Raymond, Charles, Mary, Fred, Richard, James, Charlene and Vicki.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Skiles Gorby (Sean), Larry Jr. Skiles (Mary), Brenda Trinkle (Todd) and Robin Pauly; her grandchildren, Candace Gorby (Drake Thompson), Sadie Skiles, Tyler DeVore (Carissa), Kyle DeVore (Bethany), Madison Trinkle, Tiffany Arantz (Justin), Emma Skiles and Sophia Pauly; her sister Joyce McCoy (James); and her caregiver Christine Beach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Contributions in Carol's memory may be made to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center or Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
